To encourage local shopping this holiday season, Goodyear's Economic Development team launched a Shop Local Campaign in partnership with several locally owned Goodyear businesses.
The campaign kicked off in collaboration with Arie Layne, a local boutique responsible for organizing the Pink Friday Hop & Shop event, featuring ten small businesses from Goodyear and Buckeye. We also celebrated Small Business Saturday with a social media post encouraging residents to “Shop Small” during the holidays.
The campaign continues through Christmas with four engaging video posts featuring products from local businesses in the following categories: Health & Beauty, Active & Adventure, Home & Food, and Sentimental & Thoughtful, showcasing the diversity and charm of Goodyear’s small business community.
The campaign highlights supporting local entrepreneurs who make Goodyear a unique and dynamic community. By shopping locally, residents can strengthen community ties and help small businesses thrive during the holiday season.
Participating businesses include Lavender Moon Store, Lily Joy, Clean Your Dirty Face, Enhanced Beauty and Wellness, Wornstar, Trek, RoadRunner Harley Davidson, Redline Carts, Southwest Specialty Foods, Tree of Oil, Prickly Pearadise Quilts, Osborn Jewelers, Petz Place, and Thompson’s Flowers.
The campaign's videos and materials are being shared across Economic Development's social media platforms, offering residents a fresh perspective on the local businesses that make Goodyear special. This holiday season, make it a priority to shop local and celebrate the spirit of community!
