• Description of meeting (purpose):             

The City of Goodyear has received a request from a resident to create an Arts Overlay District in Historic Goodyear. The proposed overlay would apply only to properties on the south side of E. Santa Cruz Dr. between Litchfield Road and Palmateer Park. It would allow small, neighborhood serving businesses to operate within existing homes while maintaining the residential character of the area. Example uses include art galleries, studios, small gift shops, coffee or tea shops, bakeries, florists, tutoring spaces, book stores, antique shops, and small professional offices. All uses are proposed to operate between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Customer access would be directed through Pico Dr., and visitors would be encouraged to use the City‑owned parking lot on Pico Dr. to minimize impacts on Santa Cruz Dr.

Este aviso es para informarle que la Ciudad de Goodyear ha recibido una solicitud de un residente para crear un Distrito de Superposición de Artes en Historic Goodyear. La superposición propuesta aplicaría únicamente a las propiedades en el lado sur de E. Santa Cruz Dr., entre Litchfield Road y Palmateer Park. Esto permitiría que pequeños negocios de servicio vecinal operen dentro de viviendas existentes, mientras se mantiene el carácter residencial del área.
