Goodyear Parks and Recreation is growing! In addition to 20 parks, Goodyear Ballpark, pump track and skate park, the 30-acre Goodyear Recreation Campus offers a state-of-the-art aquatics facility, recreation center, multiuse fields and sport courts.

David Lopez
Director of Parks & Recreation
David Lopez has over 25 years of parks and recreation experience, including extensive service in executive leadership roles with accredited agencies. As Director of Goodyear Parks and Recreation, he leads a talented team of over 100-full time employees who manage, maintain, and program the city’s parks and recreation system to help enhance the quality of life for all Goodyear residents.
David has a strong resume in designing, building, and sustainably managing parks and recreation assets, as well as helping departments achieve and maintain national accreditation. He is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional who earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.
