City of Goodyear Election Results Official Following Canvass

The results of the July 21 Primary Election are now official following the city council's canvass of the election results during a special meeting. Goodyear voters elected the mayor and three city council members.

Official Results for Mayor

• *Joe Pizzillo: 12,484 (77.51%)
• Bill Stipp: 3,622 (22.49%)

Official Results for City Council

• *Brannon Hampton: 10,845 (26.84%)
• *Sheri Lauritano: 10,419 (25.79%)
• *Vicki Gillis: 9,733 (24.09%)
• Jason Kish: 9,402 (23.27%)

Under the Goodyear City Charter, the candidates receiving the highest number of votes are elected if each receives more than a majority of the votes cast for that office. The terms for the newly elected officials begin Jan. 1, 2027.

The city will host a special induction ceremony in January to officially swear in the mayor and newly elected councilmembers.
