Industrial Pretreatment Program

Goodyear’s Industrial Pretreatment and F.O.G. Programs are designed to protect the sewer system and water reclamation plants from business waste pollution that may harm or pass through into the aquifer water recharge.

Learn more about the National Pretreatment Program on the EPA website.

(If your business makes something and produces wastewater)

Industries and businesses discharging wastewater to the City of Goodyear water reclamation plant may need a permit. In support of this requirement, the Pretreatment Program uses an Industrial Pretreatment Program Questionnaire for Commercial / Industrial Businesses to evaluate the potential for facilities within our service area to impact the Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW).
